It has been reported that Bukar Abba Ibrahim, a former governor of Yobe State, has passed away. Ibrahim served two terms as governor in Yobe State, first from January 1992 to November 1993 and then from May 1999 to May 2007. He also represented the Yobe East Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate from 2007 until 2019.
