The Qatari Government has changed its decision of refusing a Business/Investment meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the sidelines of his visit to Qatar scheduled for March 2024. Earlier, a letter from the Qatari authorities rejecting the Investment forum got leaked on Social Media, which resulted in heavy criticism of President Tinubu on Saturday.

The memo cited the unavailability of Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the country’s minister of commerce and industry, as the reason for the rejection. However, on Sunday, Qatar agreed to host the business and investment forum.
