A nutrition and health coach, Aderonke Oluseye, has addressed men and women who are struggling to lose belly fat amid concerns that consuming bread could affect their goal. Speaking on Channels TV, the nutritionist explained which type of bread people could eat during their weight-loss journey.

Addressing the topic, Oluseye said,

“Bread is not the problem; the kind of bread you eat is the issue. I eat bread, but not the regular kinds of bread, when I have to eat bread. Your white bread is made of flour, which has been stripped of dietary fiber. If I use whole oats or wheat to make bread, you cannot eat four slices of it and not think that you are full.

She added,

“However, if you sit with a whole white bread, you can consume it in one sitting. The issue lies in what is used in making the bread. When you have meals that are rich in fiber, you get fuller for longer, and you do not get hungry easily like you would have if you had gone for the alternative. Fiber is important in what we eat, as it also gives us energy.
