Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has taken to social media to voice his frustration regarding what he perceives as Grammy-winning artist Wizkid’s tendency to hoard collaborations with young artists.
In a candid post on his Snapchat page, the ‘Finesse’ crooner called out Wizkid, questioning why collaborative projects with emerging talents never see the light of day.
BNXN’s remarks shed light on a recurring trend within the Nigerian music industry, where established artists often engage in studio sessions with up-and-coming musicians but fail to release the recorded material to the public.
According to BNXN, despite numerous photos and videos surfacing on social media showing Wizkid working with promising young talents, the resulting songs remain unreleased, leaving fans and aspiring artists puzzled.
In his Snapchat post, BNXN expressed bewilderment over the lack of transparency surrounding these collaborations, pointing out that not a single track has emerged from the studio sessions over the years.
He questioned the reasons behind this apparent pattern and urged Wizkid to offer clarity on the matter.
