Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to an accident on the N1 in the vicinity of Rigel offramp in Pretoria East and a passenger was found entrapped in a car.
Earlier this morning, Sunday, 18 February 2024, a vehicle collided with the back of a truck on the N1 and the vehicle sustained serious damage, the driver managed to escape unscathed but the passenger was entrapped in the front passenger seat of the vehicle.
Emer-G-Med paramedics along with Tshwane Fire Department were summoned to the scene, the injured patient was extricated by the fire department officials and treated by advanced life support care, afterwards he was taken to the nearest hospital to receive further medical treatment.
