Governor Hyacinth Alia
Mr. Atu Terver, widely known as Krayzeetee and serving as the Principal Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor on Youth and Media Mobilization, has reportedly been abducted by unknown assailants.
The development was made public late Tuesday after his wife raised the alarm in an emotional post on social media.
According to her, she received a distress call from her husband in a frightened tone, saying: “I have been abducted, call mummy.”
Attempts to reach his phone afterwards were unsuccessful.
Terver recently made headlines for sacking one of his own aides who participated in a protest against killings in Benue.
Authorities are yet to officially confirm the abduction or provide details on rescue efforts.
