The governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Asue Ighodalo, has said he is the unifier of the party in the state.
He promised to restore Afuze to its sports status.
Ighodalo, who spoke yesterday at Afuze, the headquarters of Owan East Local Government, said he would transform Afuze into an Eco-Sport tourist centre if elected.
He made the promise during his visit to PDP leaders and members in Afuze as part of his tour to PDP leaders and members across the state.
He said Afuze in the past was synonymous with sports excellence, hence his desire to revamp the community as the state’s sporting hub.
