11 individuals from Kirinyaga County are currently counting losses after making a move to consume illegal alcohol. 6 of the individuals have been left dead with the remaining 5 declared blind after consuming the substance.
Although there is no clear explanation of where the individuals might have sourced the illegal liquor and who might have prepared it, the victims are said to have exhibited symptoms that have been witnessed in cases of ethanol consumption.
If you are purchasing alcohol, you should ensure that you are aged 18 years and above and that you are not purchasing illegal alcohol. This is because some people are not often keen when preparing illicit alcohol. This means that consuming illicit alcohol may leave you blind or dead in the worst-case scenario.
