The newly inaugurated committee of the All Progressives Congress’s Progressive People’s Resolution (APC-PPR) has vowed to consolidate its stronghold by ensuring that it unseat the ruling People’s Democratic Party in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
The Coordinator of the group in Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency, John Ayang, who stated this during a strategic meeting of the group held on Saturday in Ikot Abasi LGA, said the PDP’s gross underperformance in the area is providing a leeway for APC to take over in 2027.
