A 19-year-old man, Awal Ahmadu, who was accused of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 12-year-old student, has been arrested by the Niger State Police Command in the Tafa Local Government Area of the state.
Intelligence sources told security analyst, Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Ahmadu, identified as a resident of New Bwari Village, is accused of r@ping a JSS III student (name withheld) of Government Day Secondary School New Bwari.
The alleged r@pe took place in a nearby bush during school hours.
Upon receiving the information, security personnel were dispatched to the scene and apprehended Ahmadu while the victim was taken to Umar Musa Yar’Adua Memorial Hospital in Sabon-Wuse for a medical examination.
