A 2-year-old boy has been abandoned at a dump site in the Iganmu area of Lagos State.
The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in a post shared on his X handle on Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
According to Hundeyin, the baby was found at the Sari Iganmu dumpsite on Monday night and taken to a police station.
The police are now seeking public assistance in tracing the boy’s family.
“Found child: This boy of about two years old was found last night at the Sari Iganmu dump site by a Good Samaritan and brought to the station. Kindly share to enable him to reunite with his family,” he wrote.
