Billionaire and CEO of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote and Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Bill Gates are currently attending the ongoing National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.
The meeting is presided over by Vice President, Kashim Shettima at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Also present at the meeting are governors Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa State), Duoye Diri (Bayelsa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Lawan Dauda (Zamfara State), among others.
Also in attendance are deputy governors representing their principals, some Ministers and some states commissioners.
The meeting is expected to have a holistic review of the nation’s economic policy and the recent fuel price increase.
