According to Galadima, in February, the DSS accused her of using her Facebook profile to disseminate stuff that was critical of Governor Uba Sani. The continuing political animosity between Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and his successor, Governor Uba Sani, is widely believed to be connected to this arrest. El-Rufai and Governor Sani’s already strained political relationship has taken a turn for the worst after Sani accused El-Rufai of leaving his administration with a massive debt burden.
