In a court appearance at the Federal High Court in Lagos State, controversial figure Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, acknowledged his male identity on Friday.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced him to six months imprisonment without the option of a fine for currency abuse.
Before the sentencing, the judge inquired about his gender, to which he promptly affirmed his status as a man.

Don’t Deceive Nigerians’ — Atiku Knocks Umahi Over Lagos-Calabar Highway Project Budget

Former vice-president Atiku Abubakar termed the Lagos-Calabar coastal project as “outrageous” in a statement issued by his media office in Abuja on Thursday.
Earlier, on April 7, Atiku had estimated the project’s cost to be “N15.7 trillion,” with an approximation of N22.5 billion per kilometer.
This estimation was based on the N1.06 trillion allocated for the initial 47.47 kilometers (km) of the coastal highway by Umahi.
However, during an interview with TVC, Dave Umahi, minister of works, stated that the road project alone would cost N15.6 trillion, with a separate budget for the accompanying rail.
Umahi clarified that the project would not be under a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement, with the government providing 15 to 30 percent of the funding.
Responding to the minister’s figures, Atiku emphasized that the proposed cost exceeds the combined budget of all 36 states of the federation.
