Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has heaped Arsenal star Kai Havertz while picking his Premier League Team of the Week.
The Gunners registered their 10th league win of the calendar year on Saturday with a convincing performance at Brighton & Hove Albion.
They dominated the proceedings after a slow start and ended up with a comfortable 3-0 win. The margin of victory could have been much wider.
Havertz starred for the Gunners with a goal and an assist. There were no surprises that he was picked in Shearer’s Premier League Team of the Week.
The former Magpies star said that Havertz has been incredible since the turn of the year. Shearer added that he has been an outstanding signing.
He told Premier League’s official website: “Ruthless again for Arsenal. He’s been incredible for them since the turn of the year and is now one of the first names on the teamsheet. He’s been an outstanding signing.”
