Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has said that a total of €63M (Sixty Million pounds) was paid to secure the release of the over 200 Kaduna School children abducted recently.
Recall that on Sunday morning, Governor Uba Sani broke the news that security operatives had secured the release of the victims.
President Bola Tinubu has since reacted to the news of the children’s release.
With the exchange rate at 1 EUR to ₦1,587.905, this puts the ransom money Olunloyo claimed was paid at N100,038,015,000 (One Hundred Billion, Thirty Eight Million, Fifteen Thousand Naira).
