Big Brother Naija stars came out in large numbers on Saturday to celebrate their colleague, Queen Mercy Atang following her civil wedding.
Kemi Filani reported that the reality star had earlier held her civil wedding at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos with friends, family, and close ones of the couple in attendance.
Following their civil wedding, the couple held a wedding dinner which had some of Queen’s colleagues in attendance. The likes of Liquorose, Bambam, Saskay, and her new boo, Boma, Chizzy, Angel Smith, Saga, and more were in attendance. A video captured online showed the moment the reality stars turned up for the event all wearing white and exchanging pleasantries.
Notably absent from the event was Shine Ya Eyes’ winner, White Money who was once very close to Queen, before their fallout.
Back in February, Queen announced her engagement to Kemi Filani reported two weeks back that the reality star had announced her engagement, with a photo of her flaunting her engagement ring while holding the hands of her fiance.
In a later post on her Instagram page, the reality star revealed that her man proposed to her with a diamond ring because she meant the world to him.
Last week, the couple held their wedding introduction in Queen’s hometown in Akwa Ibom. Following the introduction, Queen gushed out over the fact that her husband had paid her bride price in full.
She further disclosed that he had also paid even extra. Her brother had also taken to her comment section to affirm her statement as he revealed that he had been paid till his belly was full.
