The governor of Abia state, Alex Otti, has urged the residents of Aba to come out in large numbers to welcome President Bola Tinubu to the state on Monday, February 26, 2024. According to a press release by the commissioner of information, Okey Kanu, President Tinubu will commission the Aba-based Geometric Power Plant. In addition, he will also inaugurate three roads, Omoba, Jubilee and Queens Streets, that have been rehabilitated by the Otti administration.
The statement further added that this will be President Tinubu’s first road commissioning since he became president and also marks the 9th road to be commissioned in Aba since Governor Alex Otti took over eight months ago. The commissioning of the Geometric Power Plant is expected to provide uninterrupted power supply to Aba and its environs.
The statement encourages the citizens and residents of Aba to come out in large numbers to witness these historic events.
