During an exclusive interview with Arise News, a political analyst and a strong ally to the Rivers govenor, Marvin Yobana, has parcel out his vintage between the two political bigwigs (Wike and Fubara) in Rivers State.
The political analyst argued that the former govenor of Rivers State now the current FCT minister, Nyesom Wike had apprehended an Ikwerre Local Government chairman for insulting Fubara and he asked him to apologize which he did. In spite that, other local chairmen have continued to insult the Rivers govenor.
He also said that the govenor has increased money of the local government employees and implemented the 30 thousand naira minimum as directive by Federal Government to support workers as a result of the subsidy removal. However, the local government chairmen resisted the implementation.
In a statement on interview with Arise News, Yobana said,
“Wike rebuked Ikwerre LGA chairman who was insulting Fubara every time and asked him to apologize which the young man did but that did not stop other local government chairmen from going ahead to insult the governor.
Look at what the governor just did, he increased the monies of the local government employees and implemented what the federal government said: the 30 thousand naira (minimum wage), and the local government chairmen said they would not implement that”.
