In a compelling plea for action, Israeli government spokesperson Avi Hyman has underscored the urgent need to confront Hamas, emphasizing that military experts have affirmed the Israeli Defense Forces’ (IDF) efforts to minimize civilian casualties.
Speaking to Sky News reporters, Hyman asserted, “Let me make this very clear to you all: If we do not go into Hamas, we will lose this war.”
Highlighting the significant progress made in neutralizing Hamas forces, he revealed, “We have taken out 18 out of 24 Hamas battalions, and there are 4 more in Rafah.”
Hyman outlined the strategic imperative of targeting remaining Hamas strongholds, particularly in Rafah, stating, “We need to go into Rafah strategically in a way no Army has done and take out all those Hamas terrorists.”
Emphasizing the humanitarian dimension of the conflict, Hyman stressed, “We need to do this for the children of Israel and for the Children of Gaza. We need to stop Hamas.”
