Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, delivered a powerful message urging members to prioritize peace and holiness on their journey to heaven in a recent sermon titled “Spreading The Word And Wonders Of Full Redemption.”
Addressing attendees at their Workers Training Program, Pastor Kumuyi emphasized the eternal significance of salvation, stating, “Salvation takes us to heaven. Our names are written in the Book of Life, and we are saved for all eternity.”
He cautioned against prioritizing earthly concerns over spiritual salvation, remarking, “Healing is for this earth so that we don’t exalt healing and deliverance from sickness over salvation of the soul.”
Highlighting the importance of holiness and forgiveness, Pastor Kumuyi admonished against neglecting these virtues in pursuit of physical healing. “Some people are all about healing, healing, they don’t care about holiness,” he remarked. “Holiness and forgiveness, follow peace with all men are more important than healing.”
Furthermore, he urged members to uphold unity and avoid discord within the congregation. “You must not fight against sound doctrine,” he asserted. “You must not contradict the word of God that I’m preaching, but be at peace with me.”
Emphasizing the significance of his ministry’s mission, Pastor Kumuyi declared,
“If you want to make heaven, you must be at peace with me because I’m doing the work of God and preaching messages that will get people saved and get them to heaven.”
He then concluded with a solemn reminder,
“You are fighting a losing battle because the preacher of holiness will win.”
