Following the hardship and the increment of prices of produced goods, some youths in Osun State has stormed the streets to express their grievances, demanding for improved living standards for Nigerians.
According to report from NAN, it was reported that some security operatives were on the ground to ensure law and order and to prevent the protest from being hijacked by hoodlums to cause violence.
A leader of the protesters, Comrade Waheed Lawal, asserted that the government must do what will benefits the citizens. He also said that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has renege their promise by bring hardship to the citizens.

The leader said the level of insecurity wouldn’t be tolerated in the state because it has bring emotional tension on travellers. He also said that Nigeria needs a peaceful atmosphere.
The group also emphasized that if the government fails to hearken to them, they vowed to mobilize the people to reject the hardship.
According to the leader, he stated:
“They must do whatever they need to do to make sure that the people benefit from the reforms. They promised us ‘Renewed Hope’ but what they are giving us now is renewed hardship, we reject renewed hardship in our lives, and in our economy because Nigerians deserve the best”.
He further said,
“What Nigerians want is a peaceful atmosphere. We don’t want insecurity in our land again because, with the state of insecurity in the country, you can’t travel from Osogbo to Ibadan with your mind at rest, you will be thinking you may be kidnapped.
“We have started this struggle today and if the government fails to listen to us, we will continue to mobilise our people to refuse this hardship because enough is enough”.
