Nya-Etok Ezekiel, a member of the Renewed Hope Multi-Agency Housing Delivery Team, said in an interview on Arise Television that he is one of the people who usually criticizes the president and that for the president to bring him on board for the housing project, it’s shows that the president only wants people who are experts and have the technical knowledge to bring value to the table.
Speaking about the construction and building project, Mr. Ezekiel said, “What Nigerians don’t know is that Mr. President said he is going to be there personally.
“Apart from approving about a hundred and twenty-six billion, which has never happened for the housing sub-sector,.
“He said I was going there personally, and a day before the early part was there, they actually landed on the helicopter that he was going to come with.
“On that day, the weather was so bad that there was no way he was going to come. Did you know that Mr. President braved it and came by road because he insisted that he was going to be there?” he continued.
“I am always critical of the president, and for him to get me on board shows that he doesn’t care about what I have said about him, so long as you’re professional, you’re good, you know what you’re doing, committed, and passionate”.
