A chieftain of the APC, Jesutega Onokpasa, has stated that President Tinubu is more acutely aware of the struggles Nigerians are passing through than anyone else.
The politician mentioned this on AIT, where he revealed what the APC is doing regarding the issues facing Nigerians, such as the rising cost of food.
Addressing the topic, Jesutega said,
“There is no economic basis for the rate of food price increase. It is quite obvious that this is what the opposition has been salivating for.
Opportunistically, they take advantage of the present challenges and start instigating the people into demonstrations. Nobody is more acutely aware of the struggles facing Nigerians than President Tinubu.
No institution is more keenly aware of it than the APC. Our president and our party are focused on bringing food prices down while also making it more available for the masses.”
He added,
“Shame on the opposition for taking advantage of the hunger facing Nigerians to instigate chaos.
Yes, I stand by my party. Yes, we have information about what they have been up to, and at the appropriate time, we will share the information with the public. The opposition should realize that they are being monitored.”
