Real Madrid have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial on loan.The Frenchman, who joined Man United in 2015, has been plagued by injuries during his time at Old Trafford, which has ultimately hampered his progress with the club.Despite scoring nine goals in 29 competitive appearances last term, Martial was restricted to 17 starts due to a combination of injuries and selection decisions.Although Martial made his first start of the new season in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest, he has been linked with a move away before Friday’s transfer deadline.

Man United ‘make enquiry over Brentford’s Rico Henry’

Manchester United have reportedly enquired about the availability of Brentford full-back Rico Henry.Erik ten Hag has strengthened his squad this summer with the additions of Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund.The Man United boss could still make at least one more signing before Friday’s deadline, with the Red Devils looking to recruit a new left-back following an injury to Luke Shaw.The England international is expected to miss a number of months with a muscle injury, while his deputy Tyrell Malacia has been sidelined for the opening weeks of the season.

Monaco ‘resume talks with Fulham over Adarabioyo deal’

Monaco have reportedly resumed talks with over Fulham over a potential deal for Tosin Adarabioyo.The centre-back has spent the last three years in West London, making 108 appearances in all competitions to help the Cottagers win promotion to the Premier League in the 2021-22 season and achieve a top-half Premier League finish last term.Having entered the final 12 months of his contract, Adarabioyo has been linked with a move away from Craven Cottage ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.Monaco have been pursuing a deal throughout the summer, but recent speculation suggested there was little chance of a transfer being completed.

Tottenham ‘send scouts to watch Georges Mikautadze’

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly sent scouts to keep an eye on Metz and Georgia attacker Georges Mikautadze.The 22-year-old spent seven years in the Lyon academy between 2008 and 2015 but left without making a single first-team appearance for Les Gones.Two years after his departure from the Groupama Stadium, Mikautadze signed up to the Metz academy and has progressed through the ranks to make 45 appearances for Les Grenats in all tournaments.In that time, Mikautadze has registered an eye-catching 26 goals and 10 assists, winning the Ligue 2 Golden Boot last season with 23 strikes to his name – in addition to eight assists – as Metz returned to the top flight at the first time of asking.

Udinese striker Beto has reportedly travelled to Merseyside in order to complete a move to Everton.The Portuguese striker started in his side’s 3-0 defeat to Juventus last weekend, but is not in the squad that has travelled south to face Salernitana on Monday evening.The Athletic claims that the 25-year-old flew into the UK on Sunday morning to undertake his medical.There will be hopes the club can finalise a deal as soon as possible, with Everton in EFL Cup action this midweek, before facing Sheffield United at the weekend.

Manchester United reportedly plan to reject West Ham United’s latest bid for out-of-favour centre-back Harry Maguire.The Irons are believed to have resumed talks over a deal for the former Red Devils captain, having seen a £30m transfer break down earlier this month.With Maguire needing to accept a £70,000-a-week pay cut in order to move to the London Stadium – where he would pocket £120,000 in weekly wages – he is thought to be demanding a sizeable payoff from Man United.The 30-year-old’s contract at the Theatre of Dreams runs for another two seasons, and Man United’s first offer of a £6m payoff was allegedly deemed insufficient by Maguire, who wants a larger sum to leave the club.

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in the loan signing of Manchester United’s Scott McTominay, with the Bavarians prepared to offer Ryan Gravenberch as part of a swap deal.The 26-year-old Scotsman is currently out of favour at Old Trafford, playing just seven minutes of Premier League football in his side’s opening three matches of the season.Since graduating from the club’s academy in December 2016, McTominay has featured on 211 occasions for the Red Devils, scoring 19 goals during a challenging period for United.The midfielder is an integral part of his national side, having made 41 appearances for Scotland since making his debut in March 2018, scoring five goals in four European Championship qualifiers this calendar year.

Transfer rumours: Baleba to Brighton, Ekitike to Brentford, Fresneda to Sporting

Brighton & Hove Albion have apparently reached a full agreement to sign Lille midfielder Carlos Baleba.The Seagulls had identified the 19-year-old as their number one target to replace Moises Caicedo following the Ecuadorian’s transfer to Chelsea in a British-record deal.Brighton were supposedly facing competition from Liverpool to bring Baleba to the Premier League, but according to Fabrizio Romano, the teenager is heading for the Amex.Romano states that Brighton will pay up to €30m (£25.8m) for Baleba, who will leave Lille for an initial €27m (£23.2m), and the French club will also retain a sell-on clause.
