Executive Director at Authority Newspaper, Chuks Akunna, has revealed that some elements who want President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to do their bidding are upset with him, and have begun to attack his government;
as he went further to say that those who brought the former Lagos Governor to power are the ones crying the loudest.
Chuks Akunna had said,
“Some people are not happy about — sadly that’s the people who brought this government to power; apparently they thought that Tinubu was going to do their bidding, now that Tinubu is not doing their bidding, they are very very upset with him.
Look at what Matawalle said about Katsina elders, don’t blackmail Tinubu, you understand, because they brought Tinubu in; the same people who brought Tinubu in are the ones shouting — crying the loudest.”
Chuks Akunna, who spoke during an interview on Kakaaki, an AIT Television programme, recounted how the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle warned Katsina elders against blackmailing President Tinubu;
as he went further to say that the elders, who ensured that the former Lagos Governor became President are now complaining because he is not doing their bidding.
