Segun Sowunmi, a prominent figure within the PDP, asserted that individuals like former aviation minister Femi Fani Kayode, who actively supported Tinubu’s presidential aspirations,
have yet to receive due recognition. Meanwhile, he pointed out that Daniel Bwala, who aligned with the opposition, is currently enjoying privileges at the Villa.
In an interview with Channels TV, Sowunmi raised concerns about the absence of certain figures from Buhari’s administration in Tinubu’s inner circle.
He expressed apprehension that the neglect of steadfast supporters within the APC could potentially discourage others from actively engaging in party contributions.
Sowunmi remarked,
“Where is Femi Fani Kayode while Daniel Bwala is eating in the Villa and eating in France? Do you know the amount of work Femi had to do to get them into this government? When you don’t treat the people who have been with you for a long time well, you discourage the ones who are going to put in energy in the future.
Where are the people that were working with President Buhari?”
