Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of midfielder Tyler Adams from Leeds United.The USA international joins the Cherries on a five-year contract until the summer of 2028 and becomes the seventh player to arrive at the Vitality Stadium in the summer transfer window.Bournemouth are believed to have paid £23m including add-ons to sign Adams, who follows Milos Kerkez, Justin Kluivert, Ionut Radu, Max Aarons, Alex Scott and Romain Faivre to the South Coast.AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake told the club’s website: “We’re thrilled to have brought Tyler to the club and he is a player we’ve admired for a long time.

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has said that Donny van de Beek and Brandon Williams are both in discussions over moves away from the club before the end of the transfer window.Neither player was in the squad against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday evening, while they were also left out against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in the team’s second match of the new season.Van de Beek had been heavily linked with a switch to Real Sociedad; it is believed that a potential move to the La Liga club has broken down, but there are thought to be a number of other sides in the picture.Williams, meanwhile, is only the third-choice left-back at the club behind Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, and despite being involved during pre-season, the Englishman is also expected to depart.

Fulham are reportedly in discussions over a move for Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly.The Ivory Coast international returned to Old Trafford earlier this summer following a loan spell at Marseille, but he is not in the plans of Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag moving forward.Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez are the first-choice centre-backs at the club, with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire next in line, while Jonny Evans is believed to be on the verge of signing a one-year deal at Old Trafford following an impressive pre-season.As a result, there is no future for Bailly at the club, and the 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but a proposed switch to Al-Nassr appears to have broken down.
