Nigerian singer Mayorkun has warned young musicians not to copy the mysterious image of his colleague Wizkid before they make a name for themselves.
He said that acting mysterious as a newcomer could leave an artiste lost in the crowd and forgotten.
Instead, upcoming artistes should focus on building their careers and connecting with fans.
According to him, they need to be seen and build a strong fan base first.
Only then should they think about keeping that kind of mystery.
