A Nigerian man says he was shocked to find that 46 of the 120 buckets of paint he bought contained water instead of paint.
His story spread online and angered many Nigerians.
Many people called for the seller to face serious punishment.
Others said it is becoming hard to trust everyday purchases.
Some joked about the story, calling it turning paint into water.
It is not clear who the buyer and seller are, or whether the case has been reported to the authorities.
